About Radar CNPJ
Find out how many companies work in an activity and place, look up the record of a CNPJ (the Brazilian company registration number) and follow its changes. Radar brings these steps together so you can work with the result.
Understand the coverage
The results show the date of the lookup and, when available, the reference date of the records. Check that reference before deciding: the answer is not a certificate or a real-time confirmation.
A company opened or closed recently may not appear with its current status yet. The record describes the available registration, without confirming in-person operation or ability to pay.
Research a market
Write, for example, “padaria em Brasília” (a bakery in Brasília) and check the activity and the municipality that were recognized. The result brings together active companies, openings and closures in the period and the share of MEIs (individual micro-entrepreneurs). The count is municipal, state or national; a district mentioned in the search does not create a separate count for that district.
The level — from “nobody has formalized” to “saturated” — sums up how dense the formalization of the scope is, and the reading says what to do with each number. What the record does not measure: search volume, cost per click, customer demand or income. It counts the formal supply, and says so in every result.
The record and the monitoring
Look up head office or branch, status, legal nature, size, share capital, activities, address, Simples, MEI and partner list, as far as the registry has them.
Add a CNPJ to your watch list to receive the changes identified in status, address, partner list and other fields. The alerts show the previous value, the new one and the date. They appear on screen and can reach you by email if you register an address.
What is free and what is paid
- Assessing an idea, looking up and searching CNPJs and exporting the result: free, with no sign-up.
- Monitoring up to 10 CNPJs with your account: free, with the alerts in its email. Each extra CNPJ costs US$ 0.50 per 30 days, paid per request (x402) or deducted from prepaid credit — the price appears before any charge.

What Radar is not
- It is not an official source and does not issue registration certificates.
- It is not a credit or risk analysis. It is the registry, counted and compared.
- It does not estimate demand. It counts who is already formalized doing that, there.
- Lookups need no account. How usage records are handled is described in the privacy policy.

Public CNPJ data: Receita Federal do Brasil (Brazil's Federal Revenue). The organization, the slices and the monitoring are Radar CNPJ's, an independent service with no institutional link to the agency.
