How do I know whether a company has an Ibama embargo?
Type the CNPJ in the lookup: the answer brings the company's embargoes, those in force first, with the embargoed area, the property and the municipality, and its infraction notices, with the total amount of the fines. The first 10 lookups of the day are free.
Do lifted embargoes still show up?
Yes, marked as lifted, with the date it was lifted. What weighs is the embargo in force, which the lookup shows first.
Does the lookup show fines of individuals?
No. The lookup brings only notices and embargoes of companies (CNPJ); those of individuals, which Ibama publishes with the CPF, are left out.
Is it useful for checking suppliers and borrowers?
