Sales to the federal government by CNPJ

What the company sold to federal agencies by electronic invoice — how much, to whom, year by year —, and its federal government contracts since 2013, from the Transparency Portal.

What the Transparency Portal records

CGUThe sales invoice

Every electronic invoice issued to a federal agency since September 2021, counting only sale items: shipments, returns and cancelled invoices are left out.

CGUWho bought

The federal units that bought the most from the company in the last 12 months — universities, hospitals, barracks, agencies —, with the ministry and the state.

CGUContracts since 2013

The company's federal government contracts since 2013, from before the PNCP: how many, how much, since when and the latest ones, with the agency and the object.

Questions about sales to the government

How do I see what a company sold to the federal government?

Type the CNPJ in the lookup: the answer adds up the sales invoices the whole company issued to federal agencies in the 12 months up to the latest month published, with the number of invoices, the units that bought the most and the total for each year since 2021, and its federal contracts since 2013.

What counts as a sale?

The invoice items with a sales CFOP — goods, fuel, energy, communication, transport and services taxed by the ISS. Shipments, returns, the simple shipment of a sale to order and cancelled invoices are left out.

Is it useful for prospecting?

Yes. Who already sells to the government, how much and to which units shows the competitors and the partners in each market, and the units that buy what you sell.

How recent is the data?

From the CGU Transparency Portal, which publishes the invoices about four weeks after the month and the contracts about eight; the base is checked every three days and the lookup says the latest month.

Can I check many companies at once?

Yes. With a plan or pack, the bulk check brings, for each CNPJ, the invoice sales of the 12 months and the federal contracts since 2013, with the sanctions and the tax standing, in a spreadsheet.
